Mrs. Perez graduated from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi with a degree in Early Childhood education. She is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas. Mrs. Perez has educational experience in second language learners and special education. She has taught in the Plano school district for 4 years. In the near future she plans to continue her master's degree in children's literacy.

Originally from McAllen, Texas, Mr. Birkhead graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts. After pursuing his acting career in New York City for nearly seven years, he returned to Texas and taught at Dallas Children's Theater from 2000 to 2004. Mr. Birkhead decided he enjoyed teaching young children so much, he went back to school and completed his elementary teacher certification training at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He has been teaching Kindergarten at Stinson since 2005.

Mrs. Ellison has lived in Texas all of her life and attended elementary school in Plano ISD. She is a graduate of Texas Christian University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Ellison has classroom experience with 1st grade and special education. The 2005-2006 school year is her first year at Stinson.

Mrs. Huslig was born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Kansas. She's had numerous experiences working with children in the classroom and began her teaching career at Stinson in 2005.

This is Miss Gary's second year teaching Kindergarten at Stinson. A proud Plano ISD alum, Miss Gary received her Bachelors of Science degree from Texas Tech University and her Teaching Certification from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She taught Pre-K in San Antonio for one year before moving back to Plano to begin her teaching career at Stinson Elementary!

Where: Stinson Gym

Documents needed for registration are as follows:

Birth Certificate (not hospital)
Immunization Record (must be complete to register)
Social Security Card (if available)
Proof of Residency (Gas or Electric bill)
Valid Driver's License
