After 10 years of service with the California State Hospital System, City of Dallas Parks and Recreation Department and Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, Mrs. Lawrence got her Masters in Special Education from the University of Texas at Dallas. She has been a teaching Special Education in PISD since 1989 and has worked at Forman and Dooley Elementary schools, and now she teaches at Stinson.

Mrs. Bauer has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She has been a teaching assistant with PISD since 1995.

Mrs. Brown - Sp. Ed.

Mrs. Brown graduated from Dyoritsu Women's University in Tokyo, Japan. She majored in French Literature. Mrs. Brown has been working with Special Education students since 1999. She also taught at a local Japanese school for over 15 years.

Mrs. Cappel (previously Stephanie Ware) is a returning teacher at Stinson who has taught Special Education and 4th grade and is returning from another Plano school to the Stinson Special Education department and we are glad she's back!
Miss Kittelson - Special Ed Teacher

Miss Kittelson has lived in NE Texas her whole life. She received her BS in Psychology and her certification in Special Education from Texas A&M University, Commerce, TX. She is working on her Masters in Special Education and School Psychology from Texas A&M University, Commerce. Miss Kittelson spent three years tutoring and volunteering with elementary students before becoming a part of the Stinson teaching team.

Mrs. Mora has been working with Special Education students at Stinson for more than 5 years. She works as a paraprofessional. She is currently enrolled at CCCCD.
Mrs. Mynarck 2009

Mrs. Mynarcik (aka Miss Prianti) was born and raised in New York. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from St. Joseph's College in New York. She spent 4 years working as an In-home Therapist for children with Autism and is now in her 4th year teaching at Stinson. She recently married during the summer!
Mrs. Rossi - Special Ed Assistant

Mrs. Rossi graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. She worked in scientific research before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Later she earned her teaching cerification from Georgia State and worked as teacher and paraprofessional in grades K-12 for a period of 14 years. After moving to Texas, she volunteered in Kindergarten at Stinson for four years. She is very pleased to now be helping students as a Special Education assistant at Stinson.

Mrs. Schucany - 2009

Mrs. Schucany grew up in South America. After graduating from the Alliance Academy in Quito, Ecuador she attended Baylor University and graduated in 1984 with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education and Special education certification. Her teaching career began in Irving, Texas in 1985. She taught middle school and elementary levels in Richardson prior to coming to Stinson in 2004. Mrs. Schucany loves working with our wonderful Star students in the Special Education department!

Mrs. Villegas has been with Stinson as a teaching assistant since 2001. Prior to working at Stinson, Mrs. Villegas did volunteer work for Garland Schools.

Ms. Harwell is another one of our newest Stinson Stars and we are glad to have her as a teaching assistant in the Special Ed. department.
