Ms. Hoffmeister graduated from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, with a Bachelor
of Science in Education. She has been teaching for over twenty-five years, with more than twenty
being in the Plano school district. She received her English as a Second Language certification in 2000 and
joined the ESL team at Stinson when it opened in 2000. She was named Stinson's" Experienced Teacher of the Year" in 2003-2004 . |

Mrs. Salamasick graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Communication Disorders. She received her Masters of Science degree
in Interdisciplinary Studies fom the University of Texas at Dallas. She is certified in Speech and Hearing
Therapy, Early Childhood, Elementary, Reading Recovery, and English
as a Second Language. She has been teaching in Plano for more
than 25 years. |

Heather Brzezinski email: Heather.Brzezinski@pisd.edu
Mrs. Brzezinski Earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Coaching from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. Master course work is from Morningside College and the University of Northern Iowa. She also obtained her Gifted and Talented endorsement from the University of North Texas. Mrs. Brzezinski has been teaching since 1990 where she taught first grade in Iowa and coached various sports including softball, basketball, volleyball and track. She joined Stinson in 2000 when the school opened and began teaching second grade. She started teaching PACE in 2005! She has also been involved in writing curriculum for PISD. She was named Stinson's Experienced Teacher of the Year for 2002-2003 and also named Who's Who Among America's Teachers. She has been a regional (IRA) and state (GTA) conference presenter for gifted education, reading and writing. |

Carolyn Atkerson

Mrs. Atkerson has been teaching at Stinson since it opened in 2000. She will celebrate 30 years of working in PISD this year! She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. She has been involved in curriculum writing and presenting to new teachers, as well as participated in the creation of a Team Leader Academy, now available for district leadership development. |

Mrs. Comer received her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Texas in Denton. Prior to joining the Special Education team at Stinson in 2008, she worked for a private practice in north Dallas where she provided speech and language services for children and adults. She is currently working on obtaining her certification in Auditory-Verbal therapy and is Super excited about working with our Stinson Stars! |
