Judy Hoffmeister (Team Leader) email: Judy.Hoffmeister@pisd.edu
Ms. Hoffmeister graduated from Wittenberg University with a Bachelor
of Science in Education. She has been teaching for twenty-four years, twenty
of those with PISD. She received her English as a Second Language certification in 2000 and
has been an ESL teacher at Stinson since it opened. In 2003-2004,
she was named Stinson's " Experienced Teacher of the Year". |

Terry Salmasick email: Terry.Salmasick@pisd.edu
Mrs. Salamasick graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Communication Disorders. She received her Masters of Science degree
in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is certified in Speech and Hearing
Therapy, Early Childhood, Elementary, Reading Recovery, and English
as a Second Language. She has been teaching in Plano for more
than 25 years. |

Lisa Hamid email:Lisa.Hamid@pisd.edu
Mrs. Hamid received her Bachelors of Fine Arts from SMU and continued her education at the University of Houston where she received her teaching certification in Elementary Education with a specialization in Reading. She later earned certifications in Secondary Reading and ESL. She joined Stinson as a 3rd grade and has since been teaching ESL. |

Michele McNeel email: Michele.McNeel@pisd.edu
Mrs. McNeel graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of
Science in Family and Consumer Sciences. She received her teaching
certification and Master’s in Education from Texas A&M
– Texarkana. In 2002, she received her ESL certification. She currently shares her time of teaching ESL between Stinson Elementary and Schell Elementary. |

Heather Brzezinski email: Heather.Brzezinski@pisd.edu
Mrs. Brzezinski has a Bachelor of Science
in Elementary Education and Coaching from Buena Vista University at
Storm Lake, Iowa. She has been teaching since 1990 and previously taught
first grade in Iowa where she coached various sports including softball,
volleyball, and track. Mrs. Brzezinski is the former team leader of
second grade at Stinson. She has been a regional and state conference
presenter for gifted education, reading, and writing. She’s excited
to be the PACE Specialist at Stinson Elementary! She was Stinson's “Experienced
Teacher of the Year” 2002-2003. |

Deborah Thompson

Mrs. Thompson has a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Eastern
New Mexico University, a Masters of Education and a Gifted and Talented
Endorsement from the University of North Texas, and a Kindergarten Endorsement
from the University of Texas. She began teaching in 1975, including two
years at an international school in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. She worked
at Mendenhall Elementary in Plano ISD for sixteen years and moved to Stinson
Elementary when it opened in 2000. During the last several years she has
been involved in writing curriculum and training teachers for Plano ISD.
In 2004-2005 she was named Stinson's "Experienced Teacher of the
Year" and also the Association of Texas Professional Educator's Elementary
Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Thompson has also been awarded the Excellence
in Teaching award from Plano ISD and is named in Who's Who Among America's
Teachers. |
Speech Pathologist

Elizabeth Whitney email: Elizabeth.Whitney@pisd.edu
Miss Whitney is the NEW Speech-Pathologist at Stinson Elementary. She is a native of Nebraska, however, she moved to Texas to attend college. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University and her Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. This is her first year in PISD and she is very excited to be a Star! |
