books can my child check out? Kindergarten
students check out one book at a time. Students in grades
2-5 check out two books at a time. First grade students
are usually checking out two books by the second nine weeks. |
| What are
the library hours? Students
may check out books from the library between the hours of 7:45
a.m. and 2:45 p.m. |
| When does
my child go to the library? Please
check the library schedule to determine when your child's class
comes to the library. Students are always welcome to come
to the library during the day with teacher permission and a library
pass. |
| Do you
charge fines for overdue books? No
fines are charged for overdue books. However, students who
have a book that is more than one week overdue have their library
privileges suspended temporarily. Once the book or books
are returned or paid for, the student may resume checking out
books. |
| What if
I pay for a book and we find it later? We
love to find lost books! When you find a lost book, we will
happily refund your money in full if the book is returned by the
end of the current school year. Your child will bring home
a letter asking if you would like to pick up the refund at school
or send it home with your child. |
