If you are interested in volunteering at school or on the field trip you must go to the office and fill out a form to get a background check. It may take awhile so please do it soon if you are interested.

If your child is going to absent please call Child Safe at469-752-3500 option #3
3 tardies = 1 unexcused absence
excessive tardies/absences can result in truancy court
We have three short hours to fill your child with LOTS of knowledge. Every second counts. So, please make sure your child is on time to school.
Please send a note within 3 days of the absence.
Doctor’s notes = excused absence

If a snack is provided it should be a healthy snack (yogurt, granola bar, crackers or fruit).
Please make sure that your child is picked up from math club or reading club at 3:30.
No toys are allowed at school.

Air conditioning- very unpredictable, send a sweater or jacket in your child’s backpack
Please make sure to check with your child regularly if any supplies need to be replenished.
The semester break is a great time to refurbish pencils and red checking pencils, spirals as well as scissors for they may be lost.
Teachers are always appreciative of extra wet wipes, and batteries for our IC unit.
Gel pens and automatic pencils are not recommended.
