PE
PE is the physical activity section of school. Every student
is required to take 1.0 credit of regular PE. PE
includes activity with sports and games, including soccer, tennis,
badminton and basketball.
PE
Foundations
PE foundations is the .5 of the 1.5 credits needed in the physical
activity field. It involves learning about how to obtain a sense
of wellness. It stresses mental and physical health while combining
written assignments and sports.
Body
Mechanics Ninth grade girls may take body mechanics for P.E. credit.
This course is a good preparatory step for anyone interested
in becoming a member of the Vines drill team during the 10th
grade year.
Off
Campus PE
This PE course allows students to pursue an activity not taught
at the school. Students must have professional coaches, must
practice and/or perform a minimum number of hours a week, and
must be observed by a PISD employee during the semester. Students
pay a fee to cover administrative costs.
