Around eight years old, I began teaching my sister and all the dolls I could gather lined up on the couch! My Elementary Education/Math Minor degree was from North Texas State University; although I did attend one semester at The University of Hawaii. I have taught for fourteen years now (ten of them here at Wells), and every year it is still exciting to begin with a new class full of students of different faces and personalities! Although I love teaching, I also enjoy going to the movies, jogging on cool mornings, and dining out with friends and family. I have two children (daughter and son) of my own-both in college. They are my jewels!
One of my recent favorite books is The Noticer because it was about a man who was able to help people enjoy their lives.
