I was born on February 28th in Tucson, Arizona and have lived in Arizona, Washington state, Philadelphia (Lansdowne), Germany (near Frankfurt), San Antonio, Midland, and Plano. My education includes: Churchill H.S., San Antonio, UTSA, B.A., and 21 hours graduate work toward a masters in gifted education at TWU, Denton. I received my PISD Gifted Endorsement.
I taught 3rd grade at Northside ISD in San Antonio for 3 years, 2nd and 3rd grade in Midland ISD and was the G.E.M. (gifted) teacher and team leader. I moved to Plano in 1985 and have been at Wells ever since. I taught 3rd grade for 19 years at Wells. This is my 6th year teaching second grade.
I have a wonderful husband, Dennis, and a daughter, Tiffani, step-son, Dennis III and his wife Rachel, new grandaughter Windsor, and step-daughter, Jennifer. We have a beagle named Brindy, and a Bichon Frise’ named Lancelot. We are members of Custer Road United Methodist Church.
