Books & Breakfast Club (B&B Club)
Students share books they have recently read with the group. Open to all interested students.

Chess Club
The club is for any sixth, seventh or eighth grade student who is a chess player. The club is an extension of the chess class that is taught at Wilson through exploratory. Students can join chess club at any time of the school year.

Destination Imagination
Destination Imagination is a program that promotes creative thinking and teamwork by
challenging teams of 5 to 7 members to solve divergent problems. The DI program is open to
all Wilson students in grades 6th-8th.

GUYS Read Book Club
Just for the guys...members select the books they read and discuss. Open to all interested students.

International Club
The club focuses on cultural awareness and understanding while celebrating different cultural traditions.

Library Teen Advisory Board
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) plans activities and programs hosted by the Library. Open to all interested students.

Lunch Bunch Book Clubs
Students meet during grade level lunches and discuss a book they all have chosen and read for the month. Open to all interested students.

Mathcounts
Do you like problem solving? Is your favorite pi 3.14? Then come to a Mathcounts meeting and see what it's all about. Open to all interested students.

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)
The Ammie E. Wilson Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is for students who have an overall average of 90 or higher, show exemplary conduct and behavior, as well as submit an essay about their desire to serve the school and community. Each semester, members must earn 16 service points to maintain their active status.

Ram Readers Book Discussion Group
Students discuss a book they all have chosen and read. Open to all interested students.

Spanish Club
Spanish Club explores the world of the Spanish language and its cultures by participating in activities dealing with traditions and doing crafts.

Spirit Club
Spirit Club is designed for 6th & 7th grade girls who want to support Wilson at football games and one basketball game.

Student Council
Student Council is bridges the gap between faculty and students, promotes school spirit, works as a service based group for the community, and builds leadership qualities. Officers are elected each spring; anyone wishing to join may do so upon completing a General Assembly Contract.

SSH-USH! (Sustained Silent Hearing-yoU Succeed Here!)
Weekly read aloud is held in the library during 6th period advisory SSR time. Open to all students who sign up to attend. Passes are required to attend.

WMS Cheerleading
Any 8th grade girl who enjoys sharing herWilson Middle School spirit and Ram pride may join the cheerleading team. Throughout the year, cheerleaders are involved in cheering at games, pep rallies, community parades and much more.

WMS Speech and Drama Club
The club competes in various academic speaking and acting events, focuses on individual and group improvement, and produces plays for performance.
