Principal Debby Moilanen
Debby Moilanen was born in Lansing, Michigan, but was raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but she says not to hold that against her as she got to Texas as soon as she could! She and her family, husband Bill and children Mike and Lindsey, have lived in the area for more than 20 years. She is most proud of the fact that both of her children are college graduates. Her daughter, Lindsey, lives in Chicago, and her son, wife and 2 year old grandson, Ethan, live in San Antonio.

Mrs. Moilanen received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Adrian College and a Masters in Education from Northern Michigan University. After teaching for 20 years in grades kindergarten through fifth, she returned to school and received her Mid-management/Administrator's Certification from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has also been a Curriculum Specialist for Plano ISD. Saying she still misses teaching, Mrs. Moilanen voluntarily teaches one day each nine weeks for one of the teachers at Wyatt.
