Education:  B.S. in Child Development and Family Studies from Purdue University, IN

Family:  I have 2 brothers and 6 sisters.  
I have been married for 16years in October and have 3 wonderful children;
a girl Emily 14years, Bryan 10 years, and Phillip 7years. 
I have 22 nephews and nieces and 1 great nephew and 2 great nieces.

Interests/Hobbies:  When I’m not at school I enjoy biking, swimming and playing in my
flower bed.   I do this when I am not running my children around to their activities. 
We all pitch in on the weekend to clean the house and mow the yard.  Sundays is our
unplugged day.  Nothing electronic (no DS, play station, Wii, TV) only music is allowed to be on.

If I wasn't a teacher, I would be a: Child life specialist/play therapist because I studied this while
I was at school and through the events in my life and becoming a mom I chose
teaching because I still get to work with kids and yet have time for my family as well.

Jill Robin

Education:Trinity University (San Antonio), BS in Business Administration
Robert E. Lee High School (Houston)

Years in Education: 5

Family: I’ve been married to my husband, Rick, for 20 years and we have
two great children that I dearly love.  Michael and Ashley are 16 year old twins
who are juniors this year at Plano Senior High School.

Interests/Hobbies: I love to go out to dinner with friends, travel to places all over our great
country with my family, read my People magazine that arrives on Fridays,
watch sunsets and listen to every kind of music except country. 

If I hadn’t been a teacher, I would have been:  Well, I was a Senior Benefits
Administrator for several large companies prior to becoming a teacher. 
Being with children and teaching them so many different things is so
much more fulfilling than managing 401(k) plans for employees. 
I’ve never regretted my decision for one day!

I have twins.  My kids attended Sigler Elementary, our sister school, and
have continued to gain a great education through Plano ISD.

If I wasn't a teacher, I would be: an HR Director because that I was I was until I changed fields.

Kendal Speck

Education: Associate of Science from Collin County Community College
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas

Family: My mom and dad, my sister, Hayley, who is 16, and my brother, Amon, who is 12.
I have a black and white boxes named Titan.

Interests/Hobbies: I love to sing! I'm in my church choir and sing many solos in church.
I also love to read and write when I have time. I've just started photography as well!

If I wasn't a teacher, I would be: a child psychologist because I love working with children and having
the opportunity to improve their quality of life is very precious to me.

I lived in Tennessee for two years, and I am absolutely in love with it!
I have two different colored eyes.
I cannot swim underwater.
I have dozens of stuffed animals! I can't get enough!
