If I wasn't a teacher, I would be: a day care owner because I have always enjoyed being around children, and knew I wanted to be a teacher after having some phenomenal elementary school teachers.  If I hadn't become a teacher, I probably would have opened my own day care, specifically for children of teachers.  When I was younger, my optometrist and orthodontist both tried convincing me to follow in their footsteps, but I’m glad I didn’t, as I love being a teacher!

Interesting Facts About Me:
I played tennis in high school and was also a 4-year letter winner at the collegiate level.
